A Spaniard in Minneapolis
Hola, my name is Manuel and I hail from Toledo, Spain. I’ve always enjoyed building things from scratch, and I started out with careers in blacksmithing and welding, creating everything from decorative swords to commercial refrigerators with down-to-the-millimeter precision. On the weekends, you could find me, Manu-T, on the ones and twos as a DJ spinning at local nightclubs.
When love brought me to the Land of Opportunity, AKA the USA, I decided to pursue another passion of mine: design. A couple years later, I graduated with duo degrees in graphic design and electronic publishing and web design.
I quickly took to the dynamic world of web development working two years as a developer at Sevnthsininteractive agency in Minneapolis while teaching as adjunct professor at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Today, I am happily employed in what I consider my dream job working as engineer at Adobe. Although I have come a long way from my days as a welder, I still enjoy building things from the ground up--just now websites and apps..
